Arsenal welcome Dinamo Zagreb in tonight’s Champions League encounter at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners played out a disappointing 2-2 draw against Aston Villa in the Premier League last weekend.

They were on course for a convincing 2-0 victory before letting the advantage slip.

Manager Mikel Arteta will want a better showing tonight where Arsenal are favourites to beat Zagreb.

The Gunners are fifth in the Champions League table with 13 points with a game in hand.

They can bolster their prospects of finishing in the top eight of the league phase with a victory.

Formation: 4-3-3

Predicted Line-up:

David Raya remains an undisputed starter for the Gunners in the Premier League and Champions League outings. He is guaranteed to start between the sticks and will be eyeing a clean sheet.

The experiment of playing Thomas Partey at right-back proved costly last weekend.

Partey failed to cut down the cross for Villa’s opening goal before failing to track Ollie Watkins for the second.

The Ghanaian is likely to be dropped to the bench. Jurrien Timber will return to right-back.

Jakub Kiwior could accompany Gabriel Magalhaes in the heart of the defence with William Saliba injured.

Riccardo Calafiori has just returned from another injury. Myles Lewis-Skelly should continue as the left-back tonight.

Midfielder Mikel Merino could be axed after an unconvincing display against Villa. The Spaniard was poorly positioned as Youri Tielemans brought Villa back into the contest.

Jorginho should feature as the number six tonight, which would free up Declan Rice to operate in a more attacking role.

Martin Odegaard will accompany Rice in central midfield, but the captain needs to step up. His form has dipped recently.

Gabriel Martinelli, Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard will likely keep their places further forward.

Trossard bagged two assists last weekend, while Havertz and Martinelli scored the goals.

Ethan Nwaneri could get minutes off the bench after recovering from a minor muscle injury.
