Arsenal will be without Jorginho and Riccardo Calafiori for their clash with Bournemouth on Saturday.

The pair are progressing in their recoveries from injuries, but Mikel Arteta has confirmed they will not feature this weekend.

Calafiori has been out since March with a knee issue, while Jorginho has been absent with a rib injury.

The Gunners go into that game trailing the French champions after they were beaten 1-0 by them on Tuesday night.

Thomas Partey missed that match due to suspension and so could be handed a start against Bournemouth on Saturday to get him up to speed.

Arteta, often, rotated the full-backs in between European games last month, so Jurrien Timber and Myles Lewis-Skelly may well be rested.

Ben White is the only other option at right-back, while Kieran Tierney and Oleksandr Zinchenko will fight to start on the other flank.

The centre-backs of Jakub Kiwior and William Saliba should stay the same, with David Raya in goal. Neto is on loan from Bournemouth and so is ineligible.

In midfield, Arteta is not blessed with plenty of options given Jorginho is still out injured.

Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard, as a result, may start - unless Ethan Nwaneri, Mikel Merino or Zinchenko comes in.

Nwaneri, however, could start on the right wing so Bukayo Saka can have a rest and Merino may also be given a run upfront.

The Spaniard played in midfield on Tuesday against PSG, but is expected to lead the line for the second leg next week.

Arteta may therefore be keen to give Merino minutes there against Bournemouth in preparation for the trip to Paris.

Arsenal likely XI (4-3-3): Raya; White, Saliba, Kiwior, Zinchenko; Odegaard, Partey, Rice; Saka, Merino, Trossard

Injured: Calafiori (knee), Gabriel (hamstring), Havertz (hamstring), Jesus (knee), Jorginho (rib), Tomiyasu (knee)

Ineligible: Neto (cannot fact parent club as on loan from Bournemouth)

Arsenal squad from: Porter, Raya, Setford; Kacurri, Kiwior, Lewis-Skelly, Saliba, Tierney, Timber, Zinchenko; Merino, Nwaneri, Odegaard, Partey, Rice; Martinelli, Saka, Sterling and Trossard.
