The Brazil star made a record-breaking move to Saudi last summer but could return to Europe
Arsenal have been told it is "not impossible" to sign Neymar this summer, as Mikel Arteta continues to work on a new striker signing.
The Gunners want a new frontman after growing frustrated with the performances of Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah, and have already missed out on key target Benjamin Sesko this summer.
Amid links with the likes of Rodrygo, Victor Osimhen, Viktor Gyokeres, Serhou Guirassy and Johan Bakayoko, a new name has entered the frame.
Neymar is currently plying his trade in Saudi Arabia after seven seasons with Paris Saint-German, but a serious knee injury has restricted the Brazilian to just five appearances, and one goal, in the first of season of his £127million-a-year deal.

But former Arsenal captain, and fellow Brazilian, Gilberto Silva believes Neymar can be lured back to Europe and, in particular, the Emirates Stadium, just a year after a £76m move to the Gulf state.
"I’d love to see Neymar in the Premier League with Arsenal," the ex-Gunners man told Bet365. "It would bring a lot of joy to fans and make the competition even more special.
