Arsenal continue to scout the market in search of an offensive reinforcement that can make a difference. After a season where they lacked effective in important stretches, the club have begun to evaluate more versatile options in attack. Mikel Arteta wants a player who not only decides games but also provides mobility between the lines and tactical flexibility.

In this situation, the names linked to the club have multiplied, but one has begun to be mentioned frequently in recent days. He is not new to England, but he is a player who could offer a different dimension to the team’s attacking play. Mohammed Kudus is emerging as a serious possibility to strengthen Arsenal this summer.

Arsenal In Discussions For Mohammed Kudus’ Signing

According to Football Transfers, the London club have had initial contact with West Ham United’s player’s entourage. The same source indicates that Kudus is one of the attackers on the club’s list of targets to strengthen that area of the field. However, signing him will not be easy. The Hammers are asking for around €100 million, a figure that could prove to be an obstacle. Kudus arrived in London almost two years ago and, although he has had some brilliant moments, his performance has been inconsistent. That has not dampened Arsenal’s interest, as they value his ability to adapt to different positions in attack.

T4O Opinion:

Paying £85 million for a player with ups and downs in his most recent spell raises many questions. Arsenal have other clear needs, and spending so much on Kudus could limit other important operations. However, Kudus is not a conventional attacker. He can play as a winger, attacking midfielder or even a false nine.

Arteta values that versatility, especially in games where mobility and breakthroughs are needed more than a static striker. Kudus brings quality to one-on-one situations, change of pace and goals from the second line of attack. His adaptation to the Premier League is already a plus. The West Ham attacker does not need time to acclimatise, but it is also true that his inconsistency at West Ham invites caution. Will he perform the same under the pressure of a club like Arsenal? Can he sustain a high level throughout a demanding season? That is the big question.

If the club find a more reasonable price or includes players in the deal, the gamble could make sense. But for £100 million, the stakes are different. There is no margin for error at that level. Arsenal must measure every step carefully. Kudus is exciting, yes, but the risk is on the table.
