Arsenal attacker Bukayo Saka is expected to return to action later this month having undergone surgery on a torn hamstring in December, according to The Athletic.
The Gunners have been without the England international since December 21, 2024 after an injury against Crystal Palace, and he was initially tipped to be back in April after he joined the team during their warm-weather trip to Dubai.
However, it appears Saka is ahead of schedule in a huge boost for Arsenal ahead of the Premier League title run-in.
They will be without him against Manchester United later today and it remains to be seen whether he will be available to face Chelsea next Sunday.
The North Londoners are back in action on April 1 after the international break later this month, and Saka should be available for selection.
England manager Thomas Tuchel will be unavailable to call upon the 23-year-old for the games this month even if he returns to action next weekend as Arsenal would want him to be excluded from international duty.
They have struggled at times in his absence, getting dumped out of both the FA Cup and Carabao Cup and dropping points four times in the league campaign.
Arsenal are 16 points behind league leaders Liverpool (who have played two games) ahead of their game at Old Trafford today, and they need to leave Manchester with all three points to keep their title chances alive.
