Arsenal are finalising a deal for Valencia centre-back Cristhian Mosquera, as they bid to wrap up three new signings this week.
The Gunners are also closing in on moves for Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres and Chelsea winger Noni Madueke, with Mikel Arteta hoping to have all three players signed up before the club's pre-season tour of Asia.
Arsenal are close to securing the signing of 21-year-old Spanish defender Mosquera, with personal terms agreed as they look to bring in fresh cover and competition for first-choice centre-back pairing Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba.
The final details of Gyokeres' £65.5million move from Sporting are also being discussed, with the Swedish striker having agreed a five-year contract to take him to the Emirates Stadium.
Gyokeres is expected to join Arsenal in a deal worth an initial €63.5m (£54.86m), with a further €10m (£8.64m) in add-ons.
The striker’s agent, Hasan Cetinkaya, has waived his entire commission - which was due to be worth around €7m (£6.05m) - to help finalise the deal.
Chelsea winger Madueke, meanwhile, underwent a medical on Monday ahead of his £52m move to Arsenal.
The English winger, who missed the Blues' Club World Cup final victory over Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday, is also set to sign a five-year deal and be officially announced by the Gunners towards the end of the week.
Arsenal hope to have all three deals finalised in time for the summer tour of Hong Kong and Singapore, with the squad due to depart for that trip on Saturday.
If Mosquera, Gyokeres and Madueke all arrive then Arsenal will have signed six new players ahead of next season, following on from deals for Kepa Arrizabalaga, Christian Norgaard and Martin Zubimendi.
