Arsenal have confirmed that midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga has joined Hamburg on a permanent deal.
The 25-year-old stayed four years with the Gunners, playing 39 times for the club in all competitions.
Lokonga spent last season on loan at Sevilla, and has also had loan spells at Crystal Palace and Luton Town during his tenure at Arsenal.
Hamburg are also expected to complete the signing of another Arsenal midfielder in Fabio Vieira on loan.
Vieira spent last season on loan at his former club Porto and is now set for another temporary spell away from the Emirates.
He joined Arsenal for around £34m in 2022 and has played 49 times for the club in all competitions.
Meanwhile, the Gunners are also set to add defender Piero Hincapie to Mikel Arteta’s squad before Monday’s 7pm deadline.
He is expected to replace Jakub Kiwior, who is lined up to join Porto.
Hincapie could find himself in the team sooner rather than later, with William Saliba having suffered an injury against Liverpool.
But Oleksandr Zinchenko looks likely to remain at the club, however. Marseille were keen on the defender but have since signed West Ham full-back Emerson.
Reiss Nelson is set to leave, however, with Brentford hoping to complete a deal to sign him on an initial loan deal.
