🚨 Arsenal complete signing of Brentford captain

Arsenal have completed the signing of Brentford midfielder Christian Nørgaard for a reported fee of £10 million.

The 31-year-old moves to the Emirates on a two-year contract (with the option for a further deal) and continues Mikel Arteta's revamp of his options in the middle of the park following the departures of Thomas Partey and Jorginho.

Nørgaard will wear the number 16 jersey in north London.

He is the Gunners' third summer signing after the arrivals of Martin Zubimendi and Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The Dane, who has been capped 35 times at international level, has been a key performer for Brentford since his move in the summer of 2019, making 192 appearances and scoring 13 goals.
