Paris Saint-Germain could be heading into a four-way transfer race with Arsenal, AC Milan, and Juventus for a highly rated young Spanish defender. Luis Enrique has built a strong reputation for developing young talent since arriving in Paris, and that could give PSG an edge in the pursuit.

Despite having one of Ligue 1’s top defenses, there are signs that PSG’s backline may need reinforcements. Lucas Hernandez is still recovering from a major injury, while captain Marquinhos isn’t the same dynamic presence he was earlier in his career.

Presnel Kimpembe continues to be an important voice in the dressing room, but his long-term availability remains uncertain. Lucas Beraldo is seen as a promising option. However, Luis Enrique views him more as a developmental piece than someone ready to step into a starting role just yet.

Tribuna Deportiva reports that PSG are considering a move for Valencia’s Cristhian Mosquera and have already made initial contact with the player. The center-back fits the profile that Enrique and Luis Campos are looking for, and the deal is financially viable for the club.

On Tuesday, Foot Mercato reported that PSG are keeping a close eye on Mosquera as they look to add more youth to their defensive line this summer. The 20-year-old Spanish international prospect has built a reputation as a strong, quick, and aggressive defender—traits that have made him a key figure for Valencia. But with the club looking to improve its financial situation, a sale could be on the table.

According to Cadena SER, Arsenal are preparing to make a move of their own. The Premier League side is reportedly ready to offer around €20 million, a fee Valencia considers reasonable for one of their brightest young talents.

Still, Mosquera won’t be short on options this summer. Alongside PSG and Arsenal, AC Milan and Juventus have been linked with the Spanish-Colombian defender, setting the stage for a competitive race for his signature.
