FC Barcelona are making some swift moves to reinforce their team for the upcoming 2025-26 season, even though there are still some days left till the start of the summer transfer window.

The Blaugranes have already completed the signing of the goalkeeper Joan Garcia after paying his release clause, and latest reports indicate they have already reached a personal agreement with the Athletic Club winger Nico Williams.

Meanwhile, the Catalans are also working to generate funds that they require to register these new signings, and for this purpose, they are working for the departure of several players.

Barcelona have already earned a significant amount from former players

However, although they are yet to finalize the departure of any player from their squad from the last season, they have still earned a significant amount from the market.

This has been the case with the sale of the defender Alex Valle, who spent the last season on loan, to Como, and also from the sales of some of their former players on whom they still had some rights, including Alex Collado, Ilaix Moriba, and Jean-Claire Todibo.

Ludovit Reis is nearing a transfer

Now, SPORT reports that there is another player who is expected to change clubs in the coming few days, and whose transfer would also enrich Barcelona. This player is Ludovit Reis, on whom the Blaugranes have a right to receive 25% of any future transfer fee paid.

The Dutch midfielder is looking likely to leave SV Hamburg to join Club Brugge for €6 million, and the Catalan side will get €1.5 million from this transfer.

Reis had joined the German club back in the summer of 2021. Although Barcelona had not received any fee for him back then, they had kept a 25% right on a future sale. Now, they can get some cash for him, but this will still leave the club in the loss as they had bought him for €3.25 million from FC Groningen in 2019.

In addition to Ludovit Reis, there are several other former Blaugrana players who can also bring some cash with moves this summer, including Oscar Mingueza, Francisco Trincao, Mika Marmol, Estanis Pedrola, and Ferran Jugtla.
