Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho may have already played his last game for the club and will not be included in Sunday’s matchday squad to face Aston Villa.

This comes after the shock news earlier today that Ruben Amorim has informed the player to look for a new club following his unacceptable behaviour before and after United’s Europa League final defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.

Amorim benched Garnacho, who had effectively confirmed he won’t start hours before the final when he posted an image of himself scoring in last year’s FA Cup final on his Instagram account.

With United trailing, Garnacho was brought on with 20 minutes on the clock and he had a bit of an impact, even forcing Gugliermo Vicario into an important save. After the final whistle, Garnacho lamented that United’s season had been s**t. He also cast doubts over his future at Old Trafford, indicating that “we’ll see.”

Even worse, his brother took to social media to claim that the winger had been “thrown under a bus” by Amorim.

In reality, this was merely the latest incident in a recurring pattern of behaviour from Garnacho and his brother, who have consistently undermined United managers and fellow players. It appears Amorim finally lost patience, leading him to inform the Argentine that his services are no longer required.

According to Sully, a relatively reliable source on United news, the relationship between Amorim and Garnacho has “completely broken down.”

It’s understood that Garnacho was “furious” when he was informed that he wouldn’t start in the final against Tottenham.

Sully adds, “CentreDevils can exclusively reveal that Alejandro Garnacho will not be part of the squad for tomorrow’s game against Aston Villa.”

“With it being the last game of the season, that means that Alejandro Garnacho will not play again for Manchester United.”

Nevertheless, a return to Amorim’s plans isn’t entirely off the table. The 20-year-old could still be reintegrated into the squad if he issues a public apology for his outburst.

United turned down a £40 million bid from Italian champions Napoli for Garnacho during the winter transfer window, with the winger currently under contract at the club until 2028.

Napoli are still thought to be interested in him, while Chelsea and Bayer Leverkusen have also been mentioned to be eyeing him.
