Al-Hilal are considering a massive offer to convince Newcastle United and Alexander Isak over a summer deal, according to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Public Investment Fund-owned club are keen on Isak, but the Magpies are not ready to let him leave anytime soon.

Liverpool were willing to offer around £120 million for Isak, but Newcastle insisted he is not for sale this summer.

Al-Hilal would be ready to offer more, but Newcastle are unlikely to be open to doing business with them despite having the same owners as the Saudi Pro League (SPL) club.

Isak has three years left on his contract, and Newcastle are under no pressure to sell.

Newcastle will be playing in the Champions League next season and Isak is unlikely to be open to leaving Europe this summer following an impressive campaign last term.

The 25-year-old notched 27 goals and six assists in 42 appearances, helping the Magpies win the League Cup.

He will be keen to prove himself in the Champions League next season against some of the best teams in the world rather than wasting his time in the SPL.

Newcastle are in the market for another striker, with Eintracht Frankfurt star Hugo Ekitike on their radar.

However, the Frenchman is not a potential replacement for Isak as manager Eddie Howe wants both of them to play together.

Liverpool also want Ekitike, while Chelsea are also reportedly keen on signing him despite recently pipping the Magpies to Joao Pedro.

Newcastle have signed Anthony Elanga from Nottingham Forest while Spanish sensation Antonio Cordero has joined them as a free agent.

They are desperate to bolster their squad with more quality additions ahead of the new season.
