Manchester United have long been a breeding ground for some of the world’s brightest football talents.
Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo have already established themselves as regulars for the club and their respective countries.
United head coach Ruben Amorim has a history of promoting youngsters.
His arrival at Old Trafford has been a major morale boost for aspiring starlets, fueling their hopes of breaking through into the first team.
United are set to clash with Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League tomorrow.
Amorim hinted in the pre-match press conference yesterday that a couple of players are facing fitness issues.
Journalist Nathan Salt has now revealed that the 19-year-old “Jack Moorhouse is travelling with the first team to Tottenham tomorrow”.
He further reveals that Moorhouse “has been on Amorim’s radar since back in December.”
The young midfielder is a breathtaking prospect, with his skills and potential making him a standout at the youth level.
He has been in bright form lately, securing a nomination for the Premier League 2 player of the month award in December.
Moorhouse has previously been part of the first-team training under Amorim and his coaching staff.
The starlet is renowned for his dynamic driving runs from midfield, showcasing exceptional ball-carrying ability.
Godwill Kukonki has been named in a few matchday squads but he is still waiting to make his long-awaited senior debut.
Amorim confirmed that Chido Obi was also part of the recent first-team training session.
The former Arsenal starlet bagged a hat-trick in the Under 18s victory over Chelsea in the FA Youth Cup.
While Obi continues to capture the limelight, it could very well be Moorhouse who becomes the first academy starlet to make his debut under the Portuguese coach.
