AC Milan submit bid for Strasbourg right-back Guéla Doué | OneFootball

AC Milan have submitted an opening €15m bid to Racing Club de Strasbourg to sign right-back Guéla Doué (22), according to a report from L’Equipe. Désiré Doué’s older brother signed for Strasbourg from Rennes last summer. The Ivory Coast international played a pivotal part in the Alsatians’ remarkable Ligue 1 season. Doué’s performances have not gone unnoticed and the Rossoneri have blinked first. Milan are in the market for a full-back after Kyle Walker’s exit.

Doué can play as a full-back or as a right-sided centre-back in a back three. L’Equipe adds that AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri highly regards Doué for his athleticism, his versatility and his ability to play out from the back. The outlet understands that Strasbourg is unlikely to accept Milan’s €15m bid for a player who remains under contract until 2029.
