Milan have reportedly agreed to sell Yunus Musah to Atalanta for a €25m package, hoping to replace him with Adrien Rabiot from Olympique Marseille, but Manuel Akanji turned them down.
It is going to be a very active final 48 hours in the transfer session for the Rossoneri, who are still seeking a defender, a midfielder and a centre-forward.
When it comes to the midfield, that situation was shaken up by the serious injury to Ardon Jashari, who fractured his fibula in training.

This saw Milan put the planned sale of Musah to Atalanta on hold, but multiple sources including Sky Sport Italia, MilanNews and Fabrizio Romano all now suggest they have given the all clear.
That will bring in a total package of circa €25m between fixed fee and bonuses.
It can then allow the Rossoneri to pursue Rabiot, who wants a reunion with his former Juventus coach Max Allegri after being pushed out of Olympique Marseille over a locker room brawl with Jonathan Rowe.
He will have a much higher salary than they had planned for, but it is hoped Marseille can allow for a fee under €15m.

Meanwhile, Akanji will not be the new defender at San Siro, because multiple sources including Sky Sport Italia and Sportitalia confirm the Manchester City player has rejected Milan outright.
This is purely because he wants to participate in the Champions League, and the Diavolo did not qualify this season.
