Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu is now fully operational after extensive renovations, and the club is set to reap incredible financial benefits from the revamped stadium.
According to a report from MARCA, the stadium is expected to generate around €1 million per day this season. The revenue, which combines matchday earnings, events, and tours, could reach a staggering €354 million for the current season.
Last season, despite the stadium not operating at full capacity, approximately 1.8 million fans attended matches.
This year, with the Bernabeu operating at near-full capacity, revenue expectations have soared, and the stadium alone is projected to contribute around 29% of the club’s total income, which could exceed €1.1 billion.
High demand for season tickets exceeds the available seating capacity, while the much-anticipated Sky Bernabeu VIP restaurant and hospitality area is still on hold due to ongoing legal issues.
When operational, it will offer 200 premium seats priced at €50,000 each for the season, potentially adding €10 million annually to Real Madrid’s revenue.

Matchday alone has proven to be a goldmine, contributing around €10 million per game last season.
The club played 19 league matches and 6 Champions League fixtures, without hosting domestic cup games.
The stadium’s shops, which remain open until midnight on match days, also add significant value.
VIP seating remains a lucrative segment, generating €83 million last season. Tickets range from €300 for standard league matches to between €800 and €1,500 for Champions League games.
In some cases, prices go up to €2,000 for premium seating. These packages often include first-class amenities, including hotel stays and exclusive stadium access.
Next year, the Sky Bernabeu is expected to elevate the experience further with luxurious terraces, exclusive dining, and viewing areas priced similarly to high-end hospitality venues like those seen in Formula 1 events.
With these developments, Real Madrid are setting a benchmark for financial innovation and stadium management in modern football.
