7.5 rating: ‘Tough to beat physically and composed’ – Chelsea loanee gets rave review | OneFootball

One Chelsea player has been rated 7.5 in his latest game out on loan for his new club and gets a rave review from the local media.

It’s a far cry from the club he has left, albeit temporarily, with The Blues suffering some horrific form right now after losing 3-0 to Brighton on Friday night. This was the second time in a week that they have lost to the same opposition, making it a 4-1 aggregate defeat.

Chelsea’s defeat against Brighton on Friday night has been named as the ‘worst performance’ under Enzo Maresca so far, and they are not wrong with that analysis at all.

There has been plenty of debate over who is to blame for how bad Chelsea are right now, with fingers being pointed at not just Maresca, but at the sporting directors who built this squad, as well as directly at the club owners. And the stats have backed up that all three have to share the blame right now.

One player who does not have to deal with this right now is Renato Veiga, who went on loan to Juventus in the January window.

Juventus beat Inter Milan 1-0 on Sunday in Serie A, and Veiga started the game at centre back, as he has been since he joined them.

Football Italia were impressed with what they saw and rated him a 7.5 for his performance.

They said:

‘Renato Veiga 7.5 – Superb performance from the Chelsea loanee. Tough to beat Physically and composed on the ball (88% passing accuracy via Sofascore).’

Sounds like he was fantastic at the back for Juventus!
