50 days to go! The first edition of the FIFA Club World Cup is getting closer: on 14 July, at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, the opening match between Inter Miami and Al-Ahly will get the first-ever Club World Cup in its new format underway.

Inter are one of the two Italian teams who will compete in the tournament. Simone Inzaghi’s side will be in Group E, where they will face River Plate, Monterrey and Urawa Red Diamonds.

The Nerazzurri will play their opening fixture at 18:00 local time (03:00 CEST on 18 June in Italy) on Tuesday 17 June against Mexican side Monterrey. The match will be played at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles.

On 21 June, Inter will take on Urawa Red Diamonds at the Lumen Field in Seattle, with kick-off scheduled for 12:00 local time (21:00 CEST).

The Nerazzurri's final match in Group E will be against River Plate. The match, which will also be played at the Lumen Field in Seattle, is scheduled for 18:00 local time on 25 June (03:00 CEST on 26 June in Italy).

Inter will face one of the top two teams from Group F if they advance from their group. The Nerazzurri could thus meet one of Fluminense, Borussia Dortmund, Ulsan and Mamelodi Sundowns (with first playing second and vice versa).

THE PATH TO FINALS

Inter are placed in Group E, which is paired with Group F (Fluminense, Borussia Dortmund, Ulsan HD and Mamelodi Sundowns) for the round of 16.

The first-placed team from Group E (1E) will play in the round of 16 match on 30 June at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte against the second-placed team from Group F (2F) [match 53].

The Group E (2E) runners-up will play on 1 July at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta against the top team in Group F (1F) [match 56].

In the quarterfinals, the winner of match 53 will face the winner of match 54 (first in Group G vs. second in Group H) in Orlando (Inter&Co Stadium, 4 July, 15:00); the winner of match 56 will face the winner of match 55 (1H vs. 2G) in New York (New Jersey, MetLife Stadium, 5 July, 16:00).

The semi-finals and final will be played at the MetLife Stadium.
