3 players absent as Real Madrid hold team dinner | OneFootball

A trio of high-profile players were not in attendance, as La Liga giants Real Madrid held a team-bonding dinner on Wednesday night.

That’s according to El Chiringuito TV, who have provided an insight into the details of the affair.

Real Madrid, of course, are fresh off a positive opening to the new campaign.

Under the watch of new head coach Xabi Alonso, Los Blancos have rattled off back-to-back La Liga victories, over Osasuna and Real Oviedo respectively.

Amid efforts to keep pace with arch rivals Barcelona, though, Alonso and his staff remain hard at work in an effort to build the best possible atmosphere in the club’s squad.

Such endeavours continued yesterday evening, when Real Madrid’s players came together for a meal at a restaurant in Spain’s capital.

Kylian Mbappé even flew back from an event in Monaco to ensure his presence at the dinner.

Three others, though, were not able to make it.

As per a report from El Chiringuito TV, Rodrygo, Aurélien Tchouaméni and Antonio Rüdiger were the only members of Xabi Alonso’s squad not in attendance.
