With the summer transfer window officially closed, Roma can now compile their lists for Serie A and Europe.
For the league, the squad must consist of 25 registered players, with the requirement to include eight players trained in Italy, including at least four youth players, such as Pellegrini and Pisilli.
There are no restrictions for players aged 22 or under.
Different rules apply to the UEFA Europa League list.
Roma must submit List A, also consisting of 25 players, with eight spots reserved for “locally trained players,” including a maximum of four “association-trained players.”
Then there’s List B, which includes any player born on or after January 1, 2004, who has played continuously for the club for two years starting from their 15th birthday, or for three consecutive years with a maximum loan of one year to a team in the same association.
For this reason, Gasperini may be forced to leave out one of Ziolkowski and Baldanzi. Each club must also include at least three goalkeepers, two of whom must be on List A (Svilar and Vasquez). Consequently, Zelezny will not be included.
