Zeki Celik doubtful for Athletic clash

Roma full-back Zeki Celik was forced to abandon the pitch prematurely in last night’s win over Como.

Roma’s main concern regards the Turkish international who had to be changed in the second half on Sunday after suffering an injury to his abductor muscle.

Celik left the pitch amid applause, making way for Devyne Rensch, who immediately proved decisive by providing the assist for Dovbyk’s winning goal.

Celik’s conditions will be assessed in the coming hours, with the aim of recovering him in view of the first leg of the Europa League round of 16 against Athletic Bilbao, scheduled for Thursday, writes Il Tempo.
