You all now know it off by heart

Our very own Rolls Royce Alexander Isak and his goal celebration, nonchalantly wheeling away from a clutch of forlorn and deflated defenders, the ball nestling in the back of the net.

His right fist is then lifted half mast, his head slightly turned to ninety degrees and he points his thumb backwards with a confident “I told you so” look upon his face.

The usual and casual run to the nearest corner flag proceeds, before Ice Cold Alex is engulfed by beaming teammates.

I believe there could be more irony and significance in the thumb pointing backwards gesture than some may think.

Alex especially revels in this celebratory trait when he scores against one of the Septic Six.

Most recently he has done it against Arsenal at the Emirates, against Liverpool at Wembley.

Both of these clubs just happen to have been trying to unsettle our star man for most of the season.

Could Alexander Isak be signalling that their time at the top of the Premier League tree is behind them.

Or in Liverpool’s case, that they aren’t going to keep on hoovering up the trophies anymore?

In my humble opinion, Alexander Isak is simply indicating that there is another force to be reckoned with, that is quickly emerging.

He could also even be stating for them to back off because he is extremely happy being a Newcastle United player.

I’m quietly confident that United will qualify for the Champions League next season. I also believe Alex will sign a lucrative new extended contract in the summer.

He is after all our chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan’s favourite player, and the Saudi PIF surely wouldn’t show significant weakness, by even contemplating selling Isak to another EPL club.

They are committed to Project 2030. By then we should be established as a leading club, not just in this country but also Europe.

Alexander Isak will also have a few more gongs in a black and white shirt to go with his Carabao Cup medal.

For the foreseeable future, the Septic Six along with the rest of the EPL, better quickly get accustomed to watching Wor Alex banging them in whilst wearing a Newcastle United jersey.
