Yildiz sends social message to Juventus fans after silly red card | OneFootball

Juventus talent Kenan Yildiz once again apologised to Juventus fans, this time on social media, after receiving a red card against Monza: ‘It was a gesture that went beyond my real intentions.’

The Turkish talent risks a two-game ban after receiving a straight red card in a Serie A match against Monza on Sunday.

He deliberately elbowed Alessandro Bianco, receiving his marching orders after a VAR check.

Yildiz had already apologised to Juventus fans on the pitch on Sunday, but he sent a new message to Bianconeri supporters via Instagram on Monday afternoon.

If the Sports Judge confirms a two-match ban for the 19-year-old, Juventus will be forced to cope without him in key away matches against Bologna and Lazio, two of their main rivals for a top-four finish.

Yildiz has scored eight goals and provided five assists in 46 appearances across all competitions this season, including two goals in five matches under new coach Igor Tudor.

His contract at the Allianz Stadium runs out in June 2029.
