Barcelona locked horns with Levante at the Estadi Ciutat de València earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a win on the road in La Liga. The Catalan club made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 15th minute when Ivan Romero found the back of the net. Jose Luis Morales doubled the home team’s lead from the penalty spot in the first half injury-time as Hansi Flick’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 down on the scoreline.
Pedri got a goal back for Barca in the 49th minute before Ferran Torres scored the equaliser just three minutes later. Unai Elgezabal scored an unfortunate own goal in injury time as the Catalan club earned a hard-fought 3-2 win away from home.
Let’s take a look at how each Barcelona player fared during the clash against Levante.
