📸 Wolves release retro shirt to mark famous European anniversary win 👕

Wolverhampton Wanderers have released a fresh new look to mark 70 years since they kicked off the era of European football.

The all-gold reflective number harks back to their famous 3-2 victory over Hungarian side Honved, then one of the European greats and led by Ferenc Puskas, all the way back in 1954.

It paved the way for European football to be played more regularly, with the European Cup and eventually the Champions League rising up to become the major tournaments we know today.

The replica shirt features a retro collar, embroidered details on the sleeve to commemorate the match and a jock tag to highlight the historic win
