Bayern Munich are willing to sell centre back Kim Min-jae, who has attracted interest from Chelsea and Tottenham according to reports.

Chelsea have been busy this summer, and have made three attacking signings in Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro.

The Blues haven’t ruled out signing another attacker, whilst they are thought to be in the market for a left sided defender and centre back.

Chelsea interested in Kim Min-jae

It’s been reported Chelsea are discussing internally whether to sign another centre back this summer, and they’ve been linked with several names.

The Blues were strongly linked with Marc Guehi earlier this summer, but links to the Crystal Palace captain have gone quiet.

Jarrad Branthwaite was reportedly another target, but he ended up signing a new contract with Everton, meaning the Blues will have to divert their attention elsewhere.

Chelsea have been linked with Bayern centre back Kim, and Bundesliga expert Christian Falk has provided an update on the situation.

“We’ve heard that Chelsea and Tottenham are interested in Kim Min-jae,” he wrote in his latest Bayern Insider column.

“There’s not any concrete movement on this front at the moment, partly because I think these clubs also have to sell players on their end.

“Bayern Munich are still willing to sell the South Korean centre-back, but there’s nothing concrete.”

Kim scored three goals in 43 appearances in all competitions for the German champions last season, and is under contract until 2028.

Disasi and Veiga to leave this summer

Whilst there’s a chance a new centre back could come in, it’s almost certain at least two of the current crop will leave.

Renato Veiga, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Juventus is expected to leave, with Bayern among the interested clubs.

The 21-year-old could cost up to €30m, whilst Disasi is attracting interest from a number of clubs, with Newcastle reportedly leading the race for the 27-year-old who’s said to be valued at €35m.
