Aldo Serena, speaking to Radio Firenzeviola and as reported by Tutto Juve, offered insights on Moise Kean's future under new management at Fiorentina, drawing from his own close ties with Stefano Pioli during their Juventus days. Serena described Kean’s stay in Florence as an “excellent transfer market coup,” and pointed to Pioli as the ideal coach to help the striker thrive in the coming season.

Reflecting on their shared past, Serena said, "I know Stefano Pioli well, he was my roommate at Juventus for two years and I know he is a sensitive, attentive and motivated coach." Serena made clear he expects the former Juventus defender and experienced coach to foster a strong environment for Kean. He said Pioli’s commitment to his work and connection with his players should allow both Kean and fellow attackers such as Edin Dzeko to effectively co-exist, despite their differing styles and physical profiles.

Kean, who will remain at Fiorentina after the expiry of his release clause, is seen by Serena as ideally placed. “For Kean, Florence is the perfect environment,” he commented, alluding to the club’s supportive fanbase and the positive momentum from last season.
