An insight into the plans of the coaching staff at La Liga giants Barcelona to reconvene for pre-season this summer has been provided.

The info comes courtesy of Blaugrana insider Victor Navarro, who points towards Hansi Flick’s squad as being in line for a prolonged break.

Barcelona are of course fresh off bringing what proved to be a hugely successful campaign to a close this past weekend.

With a domestic treble already in the bag, the Catalans made the trip to the Basque Country, for a La Liga meeting with Athletic Club.

And when all was said and done, Barca finished up the term just how they started it, dominating en route to a 3-0 triumph.

For the bulk of the Blaugrana’s squad, now begins a prolonged break from football activities over the weeks ahead.

As per the aforementioned Victor Navarro, those with international commitments aside, Barcelona’s players can look forward to around seven weeks of vacation.

This comes with a return date of July 13th having been pencilled in for pre-season training.
