Two more Bianconere – specifically, two of our goalkeepers – are smiling following the opening matches at the 2025 Women's European Championship in Switzerland: Danielle de Jong and Pauline Peyraud-Magnin.
On Saturday, 5 July, Danielle de Jong's Netherlands beat Wales in a 3-0 statement victory, to open their campaign in style. Danielle remained an unused substitute during the encounter.
Likewise, France - with Pauline Peyraud-Magnin's between the sticks for the full 90 minutes - emerged 2-1 victors over reigning champions England, with PPM only conceding three minutes from time, helping her side secure a massive three points in their first match of the tournament.
On Sunday, 6 July, Matchday 2 of UEFA Women's EURO 2025 begins, with three Juventus Women players involved.
At 18:00 CEST, Mathilde Harviken's Norway will face Finland, while at 21:00 CEST, Viola Calligaris and Alisha Lehmann will hope to feature for hosts Switzerland, who take on Iceland.
