West Ham have taken a lot of flak this season, but their 1-0 win at Southampton made it four league games unbeaten, and their celebrations of the winner suggest team spirit is not an issue.
Julen Lopetegui was on the brink of the sack less than three weeks ago, but eight points in the four games since have things looking up for the Spaniard.
Jarrod Bowen got the winner at St. Mary's, reaching out to tap home at the back post after Tomáš Souček and Niclas Füllkrug combined with headers to get the ball across the box.
The captain ran to the away end to celebrate, and was joined by almost the entire team in a real show of unity.
West Ham's new-found form will face its greatest test on the 29th, when they host league leaders Liverpool at the London Stadium to close out 2024.
