Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly considering Aston Villa’s Jhon Durán as a potential target to boost their attacking options, aiming to strengthen their squad for the future.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, PSG are still keen on Durán but face a challenge due to Aston Villa’s £80 million asking price. This high valuation reflects the Colombian’s impressive performances and a recent contract extension, with the Premier League side reportedly unwilling to let him go unless they receive an exceptional offer.
PSG, however, value Durán closer to £55 million, creating a notable gap in negotiations. Other clubs are also expressing interest in the talented forward.
Jacobs also shared that Aston Villa recently rejected a £57 million bid from West Ham, marking their second attempt this window. Aston Villa are firm in its position, with only an offer close to £85 million (€100 million) likely to change its stance.

The Hammers are exploring several striker options in the market, but their interest in Brighton forward Evan Ferguson has yet to materialize, Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge told Give Me Sport.
“The one I was told may be closer than most, was maybe Evan Ferguson, but that hasn’t really materialized at the moment,” Bridge said. “There’s a number of options.
A recent report from Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna states that PSG came close to an agreement with Durán’s representatives and made a verbal offer of €75 million, which Aston Villa rejected.
The report also notes that Durán, considered one of the most promising striker prospects, is showing strong interest in joining Al Nassr, who have entered the race for his signature.
