Wayne Rooney has been sacked by Plymouth Argyle after just months in charge, leaving the Greens bottom of the Championship.
The former Premier League star took over at Argyle in the summer, being given another chance after a dreadful spell in charge of Birmingham City which ultimately saw them drop into League One.

But he has won just four of his 23 Championship games in charge of Plymouth, leaving them bottom of the division with the most goals conceded at the halfway stage, and four points from safety.
His assistant coaches will also be leaving Home Park.
