Two members of the first-team ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona on Monday trained away from the rest of the club’s squad.
This comes owing to respective fitness concerns.
Barcelona are of course currently locked in action. In the final outing of the club’s pre-season tour of Asia, the Blaugrana have made the trip to South Korea, for a meeting with FC Daegu.
Hansi Flick named a strong XI for the fixture, albeit with a number of fringe stars and up-and-coming talents also expected to be afforded a chance to impress.
Two players who will play no part, however, are Iñigo Martínez, and Fermín López.
Defender Iñigo and midfielder Fermín set alarm bells sounding across the Barcelona fanbase on Sunday, after being forced into premature respective departures from training.
Neither player is thought to have picked up any kind of serious injury, but both have nevertheless been afforded the day off on Monday.
Iñigo and Fermín, though, were spotted out on the grass doing some light training ahead of kick-off at the Daegu Stadium.
