Barcelona star Raphinha carried forth his stellar opening to the campaign on Thursday evening.
This came by way of his exploits on the international front, with Brazil.
The Seleção are currently locked in action, in a World Cup qualifier against Venezuela at The Estadio Monumental de Maturín.
Raphinha, for his part, was afforded a starting berth by boss Dorival Júnior, his first appearance in the country’s iconic no.10 jersey.
And, safe to say, the former Leeds United man has since gone on to make it an outing to remember…
After Brazil were afforded a free-kick on the edge of the Venezuelan penalty area late in the first-half, Raphinha took his place over the ball.
From here, the 27-year-old went on to direct a sumptuous bending effort over the wall, and into the hosts’ net courtesy of the far post.
The strike in question, since cancelled out by Venezuela’s Telasco Segovia, is showcased below:
