Footage of Real Madrid star Arda Güler reacting to the decisive goal in his side’s meeting with Espanyol has come to the fore online.

Real Madrid were of course back in action a short time ago.

Aware that their advantage atop the La Liga table had been cut to a solitary point, Los Blancos made the trip to Barcelona, for a La Liga meeting with Espanyol.

When all was said and done on a difficult evening for all associated with the club, however, Real were condemned to the wrong side of a 1-0 result.

This came after a solitary goal on the part of Carlos Romero – who was more than lucky to escape an earlier red card – netted inside the game’s closing moments, guided hosts Espanyol to a memorable triumph.

And one individual who could not hide his frustration with such developments, as alluded to above, was Arda Güler.

Forced to watch on from the bench for the entirety of the 90 minutes this evening, Turkish international Güler was caught on camera looking furious upon Romero slotting beyond Thibaut Courtois:
