THE CONTENDERS

The Celts are back with a bang! An unbeaten start to the season for both the Men’s and Women’s teams have led to some scintillating finishes across all competitions. For your consideration….

GOAL A – LIAM SCALES V KILMARNOCK (4/8/24)

First up is defender Liam Scales, with him rising to bullet home a header in the season opener against Kilmarnock at Paradise.

GOAL B – LUCY ASHWORTH-CLIFFORD V DUNDEE UTD (10/8/24)

Opening the season in style was Lucy Ashworth-Clifford whose excellent goal against Dundee Utd was the first for Elena Sadiku’s side this season.

GOAL C – CALLUM McGREGOR V HIBERNIAN (11/8/24)

Captain Cal Mac has kicked off this season in fine form, and this stunner against Hibernian at Easter Road is in as your choice for Goal C.

GOAL MATHILDE CARSTENS V ABERDEEN (25/8/24)

Goal D sees the Ghirls head north to face Aberdeen where Mathilde Carstens strike was the pick of the bunch.

GOAL E – CALLUM McGREGOR V ST MIRREN (25/8/24)

Callum McGregor had his shooting boots on this month with another long range finish, this time in Paisley against St Mirren.

GOAL F – ALISTAIR JOHNSTON V ST MIRREN (25/8/24)

Your final August goal sees Canadian defender open his account for the season against St Mirren, firing a fine finish high into the net after some excellent work down the right wing.

So, there you have it. Six cracking goals but there can only be one winner. Competition closes at 5pm, on Wednesday 25th of September.
