Valencia star is ‘very popular’ at Real Madrid | OneFootball

A member of the defensive ranks at Valencia is being closely monitored by those behind the scenes at La Liga rivals Real Madrid.

That’s according to Marca, who point towards Cristhian Mosquera as the player in question.

Mosquera, for his part, has long been considered a potential star in the making on the part of those at Valencia.

Despite his tender years – the Spaniard is just 20 – he has featured from the off in all but six of Los Che’s league outings over the last two seasons.

And along the way, it is understood, Mosquera piqued the attentions of one of La Liga’s headline clubs…

As per a report from Marca, those in the boardroom at Real Madrid kept a close eye on Spain’s fixtures at the U21 European Championships this summer.

As much came in no small part owing to Mosquera’s participation.

Los Blancos are giving consideration to a future move for the gifted stopper, fully aware of the fact that Mosquera’s Valencia contract terms are due to expire next summer.
