Valencia are prepared to go all out to bring in Barcelona’s highly-rated winger Dani Rodriguez before the conclusion of the transfer window, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The 19-year-old, who made his official debut under Hansi Flick last season, has returned to full training after recovering from a dislocated right shoulder that required surgery in May.

Despite signing a contract extension with Barcelona last summer until June 2027, Rodriguez could leave on loan in search of regular first-team football.

In that regard, Valencia, looking to strengthen their attack after Fran Perez’s move to Rayo Vallecano, have identified the winger as their top target.

Given their financial limitations, they are expected to propose a season-long loan with an option to buy.

Limited chances could force him to leave

Rodriguez’s desire remains to succeed at Barcelona, and Flick values his potential. However, the arrivals of Marcus Rashford and Roony Bardghji have further reduced his immediate chances of breaking into the first-team lineup.

A loan move to Valencia would allow him to play at the highest level in La Liga, rather than spend the season in the Segunda RFEF with Barça Atletic.

The winger is reportedly open to the move, seeing it as an opportunity to continue his development in a competitive environment.

Barcelona, meanwhile, are expected to follow their usual strategy with promising talents by retaining a buy-back clause in any agreement. This ensures they maintain long-term control over Rodriguez’s future.
