The young Magpies have been placed in Group C of this season’s competition and will have home fixtures against each of the four invited European clubs in the section. They are Paris Saint-Germain, GNK Dinamo Zagreb and SL Benfica.

Brighton & Hove Albion, Chelsea and Nottingham Forest are the other English sides in the group.

Newcastle's youngsters host PSG in their opening group fixture, which must be played by Wednesday, 1st October before welcoming Dinamo Zagreb to Tyneside, which must take place by Tuesday, 4th November.

After facing Real Sociedad in their penultimate group game, which must be played by Tuesday, 9th December, Newcastle will take on Benfica in their final fixture, which must take place by Wednesday, 21st January 2026.

Competing in the tournament for the first time since 2019/20, Newcastle reached the semi-finals of the competition in 2017/18 after finishing in second place of a four-team group involving Liverpool, Sparta Prague and PSV Eindhoven.

United's second-string beat Sunderland in the quarter-finals, via penalties at the Stadium of Light, before suffering a narrow 1-0 defeat against eventual winners FC Porto in the semi-final stage at St. James' Park.
