Southampton winger and Everton target Tyler Dibling is now training away from the Saints first-team after the Championship club rejected the transfer approaches from the Toffees, according to the Sun.

Everton want to bring the 19-year-old to the Hill Dickinson Stadium club this summer, but all their three bids have been knocked back.

Southampton manager Will Still has now decided that Dibling should not be part of first-team training with his future still up in the air.

The teenage sensation, who wants to join the Toffees, is now working with a small group of players doing only fitness work, and he is expected to leave in the coming weeks.

However, whether a move to Everton will materialise will work out remains to be seen as manager David Moyes is already looking elsewhere.

The Merseyside club want to sign Manchester City winger Jack Grealish on loan for the season, and talks are believed to be ongoing between both clubs.

Southampton made a counter-offer to Everton after their latest bid worth in the region of £40 million.

The Saints returned with a proposal of £45m plus £5m in easily achievable bonuses and a 25 per cent sell-on clause, but the Toffees insisted they were not keen on doing business on those terms.

Still opting to keep him away from first-team preparations ahead of the Championship opener against Wrexham on Saturday speaks volumes, and the Blues and Saints could both return to the negotiation table for further talks.

Everton have snapped up English midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Chelsea today, with the former Leicester City star becoming their fifth summer signing after Charly Alcaraz, Thierno Barry, Mark Travers and Adam Aznou.

Moyes wants a winger and Dibling fits the bill after his impressive campaign in his first Premier League season last term, and he could prove to be a better option than Grealish.
