Twente Coach Responds To Transfer Speculation On Feyenoord, Inter Milan & Roma Target | OneFootball

The coach of Twente has opened up on the transfer speculation around Feyenoord, Inter Milan, and Roma target Sem Steijn.

Twente boss Joseph Oosting admitted in a press conference, via FCInterNews, that Feyenoord are interested. However, he claimed that he’s not aware of interest from Serie A.

Earlier this week, a report emerged that Inter Milan are tracking Twente midfielder Sem Steijn.

The 23-year-old is the top scorer in the Eredivisie this season, with 22 goals so far. This has naturally led to a fair bit of transfer attention.

Feyenoord have reportedly already made an offer for Steijn. However, there is also transfer interest from Serie A.

Both Inter Milan and Roma have reportedly made inquiries about signing the Dutchman.

It is little surprise to see Steijn emerge as a transfer target for bigger clubs.

The 23-year-old is the top scorer in the Eredivisie this season. And he has also impressed with performances in Europe, including against Manchester United.

Feyenoord’s coach Joseph Oosting addressed the future of young midfielder Sem Steijn.

The coach admitted that “I know that Feyenoord are interested,”

But as far as the links to Roma, the coach claimed that “I don’t know anything about that.”

Then, Oosting also admitted that Twente will almost certainly sell players this summer.

“We’ve done a great job here in recent years,” said the coach. “So I assume that some players will leave.”
