The second windows open on Monday - or the first window re-opens, depending on how you look at it - and could begin with a bang after Liverpool agreed a club-record-smashing £116million deal to sign Florian Wirtz, who will now undergo a medical. The Premier League champions are expected to add Milos Kerkez soon after, and have been linked with Paris Saint-Germain star Bradley Barcola.

Arsenal appear to have gone back in for Viktor Gyokeres as Mikel Arteta's striker search continues. The club have been in talks with RB Leipzig over Benjamin Sesko, but it is the Sporting striker reportedly the subject of one rejected bid. Another is thought to be incoming. Martin Zubimendi will soon follow amid links with Rodrygo, Julian Alvarez and Morgan Rogers.

Tottenham have appointed Thomas Frank as their manager and are wasting no time on bolstering the squad as they make a move to hijack Manchester United's bid for Bryan Mbeumo. Frank could make it a double Brentford raid with Yoanne Wissa, too. Uinted are also interested in Hugo Ekitike, who also has admirers at Chelsea. The Blues are reignited interest in Tomas Araujo and remain keen on Jamie Gittens and Mike Maignan. Follow the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip live below!

Liverpool want Osimhen to replace Nunez

Liverpool are internally discussing a move for Victor Osimhen, according to reports.

The player has been tipped as a replacement for Darwin Nunez, with the struggling striker set to be offloaded this summer. Liverpool have named their price for the player at just £59m.

They are now assessing a £63m move for Osimhen, who is hoping to leave Napoli this summer.

He has already seen a proposed move to Al Hilal fall through, and has reportedly discussed a permanent move to Galatasaray, where he spent last season on loan.

Chelsea were thought to have held a longstanding interest in the player but are no longer in pursuit of his services after signing Liam Delap.

Gabriel sends Rodrygo message to Arsenal

Gabriel has urged Arsenal to make a move for “phenomenon” Rodrygo.

The Gunners have been linked with the Real Madrid winger, amid reports that he is not in Xabi Alonso’s plans.

It remains to be seen if a move materialises after the Club World Cup, but Gabriel has made clear he would love to see his Brazilian team-mate in north London.

“I don’t. No, I don’t, not really,’ Gabriel replied when asked if he knew if Arsenal would sign Rodrygo this summer.

“But I’d like obviously. Rodrygo is a phenomenon, for me. He’s not at Arsenal… If it depended on me, I’ve told people already, he’s a phenomenon.

“His name is mentioned a lot. If it was up to me, of course.”

Liverpool eye deal for Barcola

Bradley Barcola is another new name now being connected with Liverpool.

The French international was a key part of the Paris Saint-Germain side that completed an unforgettable treble with a Champions League final demolition of Inter Milan earlier this month, but his future at the Parc des Princes seems uncertain.

Foot Mercato in France report that both Liverpool and Bayern Munich are interested for a deal this summer.

However, PSG understandably do not want to part with a player who remains under contract until 2028 and scored 21 goals this term with 19 assists.

Bayer Leverkusen want Kluivert as Wirtz replacement

Bayer Leverkusen look set to move for Justin Kluivert as the replacement for Florian Wirtz.

talkSPORT among the outlets claiming that they have made contact with Bournemouth over a potential swoop for Kluivert.

New manager Erik ten Hag is said to view his fellow Dutchman as perfect fit at BayArena, having already returned to the Premier League to sign compatriot Mark Flekken from Brentford.

However, it will be tough to convince Bournemouth to part with a player who scored 13 goals this season and is under contract until 2028, particularly with Milos Kerkez likely to join Wirtz at Liverpool to follow new Real Madrid signing Dean Huijsen out of the Vitality Stadium exit door.

The Cherries are also dealing with plenty of transfer interest at present in the likes of Antoine Semenyo and Ilya Zabarnyi.

Cunha thrilled by 'dream' Man Utd move

Matheus Cunha is delighted to have joined his "dream" team and is determined to help Manchester United bounce back from their worst season in 51 years.

The 20-time English champions are in the midst of a rebuild under Ruben Amorim, having limped home 15th in the Premier League and lost the Europa League final to fellow strugglers Tottenham.

The Red Devils' issues did not deter Brazil international Cunha, who completed his eagerly-anticipated £62.5million switch from Wolves on Thursday.

"It is the most common phrase that you can say at this moment, but this is the dream come true," he told MUTV.

"Maybe outside, I think maybe my decision, they don't understand. But when you have always dreamed to play here, it's easier to pick this decision.

"For me, no-one else is like United. Of course, I know it's been a hard season for everyone. I think my decision shows what this club is for me and what I believe this club can be."

Manchester United make contact over Hugo Ekitike deal

Manchester United have reportedly entered the race for Hugo Ekitike.

Along with the likes of Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko, the French Under-21 international is among the most sought-after strikers in Europe this summer after successfully reviving his career in Germany at Eintracht Frankfurt following a difficult spell at Paris Saint-Germain.

Liverpool and Chelsea have both been heavily linked with Ekitike as well as a host of other suitors from the continent, though Old Trafford could yet be his next destination.

According to Sky Germany, Manchester United are now firmly in the running for the 22-year-old, having made contact with Frankfurt.

However, they will have to splash €100m (£85m) in order to sign Ekitike after spending £62.5m on Matheus Cunha and trying to push through another expensive deal for Bryan Mbeumo.

Chelsea make Tomas Araujo new top target

Chelsea appear to have a new top transfer target with the second instalment of a unique two-window summer around the Club World Cup set to open on Monday.

The Blues have already welcomed Liam Delap, Mamadou Sarr and Dario Essugo in recent weeks, plus Kendry Paez and Mike Penders, with Estevao Willian also joining after the competition.

However, they were not able to clinch the signings of Jamie Gittens and Mike Maignan before the first deadline on Tuesday night, with talks continuing over that duo.

According to Portuguese publication A Bola, Chelsea are now back in for versatile Benfica centre-back Tomas Araujo, making the Portuguese international their new top target amid rival interest from the likes of Liverpool and PSG.
