Premier League clubs lining up moves for summer targets
Transfer news – LIVE!
The January transfer window may well have closed now but all of the Premier League clubs keep being linked with major summer moves. So much has been made about Arsenal’s lack of firepower and the Gunners are being tipped to make a massive money offer to sign Inter Milan and Argentina forward Lautaro Martinez this summer.
Mikel Arteta’s side have also been widely tipped to sign Real Sociedad and Spain midfielder Martin Zubimendi, who is expected to join this summer. Still, with nothing yet signed, perhaps the door could be open for another huge club to try and hijack any move.
Chelsea – by their standards – had a relatively quiet time of things in January. However, the Blues are surely likely to spend again this summer and recent reports suggest they are now keen to sign Crystal Palace defender Daniel Munoz. Follow all the latest news, gossip and rumours below!

Arsenal explored deals for four strikers during January.
The Mail report that RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, Bayern Munich’s Mathys Tel, AC Milan striker Alvaro Morata and Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins were all discussed during the month.
One bid went in for Watkins, while Tel joined Tottenham on a loan-to-buy deal.
The report adds that Arsenal found that the best players just were not available with prices inflated or clubs unwilling to do business.

Chelsea are confident Marc Guehi will join them over Tottenham this summer.
Spurs saw a £70m bid for the Crystal Palace defender rejected in the final days of the winter transfer window.
That was after Newcastle saw multiple bids rejected last summer.
But the Blues believe they will have enough pull to win the race for the England international.

Matheus Cunha will be available for £62m this summer.
The Wolves striker was strongly linked with a move to Arsenal in the January window, but he will remain at his current club until at least the end of the season.
The Daily Mail report that Cunha’s latest contract has a £62m release clause in it, which could spark plenty of interest come the summer.

Arsenal legend Paul Merson claims he “wouldn’t be surprised” if England captain Harry Kane joined the Gunners.
News of Kane’s release clause in his contract at Bayern Munich emerged earlier this week, with German outlet BILD claiming it would soon decrease from £67m to £54m.

Fulham have confirmed Willian has returned to the club as a free agent.
A deal was agreed on deadline day, but there was no need for the move to be completed before Monday’s 11pm deadline as Willian had been without a club.
The 36-year-old left Olympiacos in December, just three months after he signed for the Greek club following the expiring of his contract at Fulham.
Willian has now secured a return to the Premier League and Craven Cottage, signing a contract until the end of the season. The Brazilian will wear the No.22 shirt.

The Telegraph suggest Tottenham have first refusal, although it remains to be seen if any of the other Premier League giants opt to make a move.

Sporting CP star Viktor Gyokeres was one of the major names being linked with a move during the January transfer window, albeit he remained in the Portuguese capital.
Still, perhaps a move could become more realistic in the summer.
According to iNews, the Lisbon giants would be willing to part ways with their star striker for around £60m.

Chelsea didn’t make any huge moves during January but all that could change come the summer time.
Daniel Munoz has so far impressed during his first year at Crystal Palace and could be in line for a short trip across London soon.

Arsenal’s pursuit of a new striker could take them to Inter Milan and Argentina star, Lautaro Martinez.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, the Gunners are ready to go in with a huge £100m bid this summer, which would smash their club-record.
Still, given his importance to the Serie A giants, it remains to be seen if Inter would sell even at that price.
