According to Sport, Real Madrid may be ready to part ways with Vinicius. Despite being the undisputed star of Los Blancos in recent years, the Brazilian ace is no longer seen as untouchable. The reasons? Hierarchical tensions in the Madrid dressing room, Xabi Alonso’s arrival on the bench shaking up established roles, and stalled negotiations over a contract extension.

It’s a good time to recall Kylian Mbappé’s words about Vinicius: “I came here with the idea of playing with him. I can’t imagine Madrid without Vini. We play well together and we’re going to help Madrid.” Mbappé made these comments last April in a major interview with the channel La Sexta.

Still, Mbappé could benefit from a potential Vinicius departure, as both players generally prefer to operate down the left flank.
