The report claims that El Khannouss could be available for around £25 million (€29 million / $33 million), though it’s also been rumored the Morocco international has a £22.5 million relegation release clause in his contract.

El Khannouss had an impressive first season in the Premier League with Leicester City and was one of the team’s top performers, even as the Foxes were relegated to the Championship.

His strong displays have caught the eye of several clubs, and there are unconfirmed reports that Leeds United are among those weighing up a move for the talented 21-year-old. The question will be whether this is a saga that’s wrapped up in a few days to have him ready for the Super Cup or drags on until the window closes.
