Tottenham Hotspur are open to using Richarlison as a makeweight in a deal to sign Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze, according to the Daily Mail.

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club want to sign the England international this summer, and the Eagles value him at £60 million.

Spurs and Palace have been in talks for Eze in recent days, but an agreement has not been reached.

Tottenham are now exploring a part-exchange involving Richarlison plus cash for Eze.

The Brazilian hit the ground running this season, grabbing a brace as Spurs strolled to a 3-0 win over Burnley at the weekend.

He has been linked with an exit all summer, and it appears his performance in the opening game of the 2025-26 Premier League campaign did not convince manager Thomas Frank.

The Englishman is an upgrade on his Brazilian counterpart, given their performances over the last three seasons, but Spurs should be looking to keep the 28-year-old.

He looked ready to put his injury woes behind him and prove himself all over again on Saturday, and letting him leave makes no sense.

Eze would be an excellent signing for Tottenham, but they need quality depth in attack as they prepare to challenge across the domestic competitions and Champions League.

They are back in action on Saturday with a trip to Etihad Stadium to take on Manchester City, and Richarlison could be key to their chances of getting a result.

Palace want Eze to feature against Fredrikstad in the first leg of the Europa Conference League play-off on Thursday, and he could remain at the club for the reverse fixture next week.
