Tottenham Hotspur gear up for their next match this Sunday, with the coach delivering positive news this Friday.
The Spurs are set to return to Premier League action this weekend as they host Fulham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Following a 2-2 draw with Roma in the Europa League, Spurs will be eager to build on their recent 4-0 triumph over Manchester City in the league.
With inconsistent performances this season, manager Ange Postecoglou will aim for a strong showing against the Cottagers.

According to Football London, Postecoglou addressed the media on Friday, offering an update on the squad’s injury situation. Encouragingly, the manager reported no new setbacks from the Roma game.
However, he cautioned that surprises can still occur, referencing Guglielmo Vicario's unexpected surgery after the City match.
One of the main talking points is the fitness of Cristian Romero. The Argentinian defender is nearing a return but remains doubtful for Sunday’s clash.
“Returns…unlikely. Romero is closer, he’s probably the closest but again probably unlikely, but I’m not ruling him out, " Postecoglou commented. “He’s got to get through a few things today and then we’ve got a session tomorrow.”
Dominic Solanke, who appeared to pick up a groin issue during the Roma game, has been cleared to play, albeit with some lingering soreness.
Postecoglou acknowledged the strain on the squad: “He’s a bit sore but we’re obviously really thin squad-wise, especially in that front third, so he’s working hard for us. At this stage nothing that’s too significant.”
Meanwhile, Richarlison, Wilson Odobert, and Micky van de Ven remain sidelined with hamstring injuries.
Midfielder Mikey Moore is recovering from a virus, and Rodrigo Bentancur continues his seven-game domestic ban, now serving the second match of the suspension.
In brighter news, James Maddison, rested for the Europa League fixture, is expected to feature against Fulham.
His creative influence will be crucial for Spurs as they aim to maintain momentum in the Premier League.
Despite the challenges, Postecoglou’s squad has shown they can perform at a high level, as demonstrated against Manchester City.
However, consistency remains a concern, and Sunday’s match presents another opportunity to solidify their position in the league.
With the busy festive period fast approaching, Tottenham will need to manage their resources carefully. A strong performance against Fulham would reinforce confidence in Postecoglou’s vision for the club.
