Instead, the Nerazzurri wouldn’t demand a fee since he’s a deep option and will leave on a free at the end of the season anyway. They wouldn’t need to replace him having also Mehdi Taremi and Joaquin Correa behind their two stars.

Instead, Napoli continue to resist for Giovanni Simeone. While they could accept a loan with an obligation to buy, the total valuation is about €15M.

Landing the former would be a nice outcome for all parties, and they don’t seem too distant. They should probably be ambitious and go for a twofer, as Antonio Sanabria and Ché Adams have been pretty underwhelming in the last few months. They cashed in plenty with the Alessandro Buongiorno and Raoul Bellanova deals last summer and didn’t reinvest a lot.
