AC Milan have a number of talents within their youth sector that have gained media attention over the past few months and years, but now there is a new name to add to the list: Akram Jadid.

As TMW write, Milan’s U15 side were playing Cagliari over the weekend and it was a match that started off in the best possible way for mister Lorenzo Cresta’s side, who scored two goals in 11 minutes to immediately put the match on the right track.

The first goal of the day was scored by the smallest player on the pitch, left winger Akram Jadid, who ended up being the LGI MVPlayer of the match. Despite playing above his age level (he was born in 2001), he is already showing his talent.

Against Cagliari he scored his fifth goal in just four appearances, to which we must also add the many assists and noteworthy plays. After scoring the first goal he also had a hand in the third goal, taking a corner kick to the far post on which Troiano headed back for Marchello to score.

The whole Milan team were impressive – including captain Emanuele Carbone, a playmaker and true metronome of the team – but it is Jadid who stands out. He went off in the 30th minute of the second half to make way for Ghislini, with the score at 3-1 to Milan but with a man down.

A year younger than his team-mates and opponents, Jadid doesn’t make himself heard in terms of being vocal on the pitch but his skill, technique and his charisma mean that an excellent start to the season could easily be continued with the right consistency.
