Thomas Muller has decided to stick around just a bit longer with Bayern Munich.
The 34-year-old has signed a new deal with Thomas Tuchel’s side until June 30, 2025, extending his legendary career with the Bundesliga giants.
Müller has featured almost 700 times for the club at the senior level, registering over 225 goals and 250 assists in his decorated career.
“Thomas Müller belongs to FC Bayern like the Frauenkirche to Munich. He was born just outside the city, grew up in this club and became a legend during his playing days – very few people can do that,” said president Herbert Hainer.
“His path into the history books is paved with records. FC Bayern has been shaped by many personalities, and there will never be a player like Thomas Müller again.”
During his time in Munich, he has won 12 Bundesliga titles, two Champions League titles, and six DFB Pokal titles amongst his 32 club titles in total.
While his 2023-24 season has featured less game time, the 2014 World Cup winner remains a proven veteran for Tuchel to rely on.
